WING

WING is one of the most playful and free-spirited houses at neti neti: an airplane cabin among the trees, born from a child's dream. It was given this name because a wing carries the meaning of movement, rising and letting go. In the world of neti neti, WING reminds us that sometimes we need to step out of familiar forms in order to become lighter. This house is a place of freedom, imagination and the excitement just before take-off.

Known locally simply as "the plane", the house was completed in 2022 in collaboration with Hello Wood, born from a child's dream. The idea of the airplane cabin came from Balázs's daughter, Lujzi, who was involved throughout the design process: they went to meetings together, and the mood, shape and details of the cabin gradually took form together.

WING is unlike anything else. Its shape, round windows, compact airplane-like interior proportions and onboard details all create a small world of its own. Inside, original airplane seats and an overhead luggage compartment from a retired Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-300 have been built into the space. The cabin is filled with aviation memorabilia: every corner holds a small detail that recalls travel, take-off and the childhood excitement of flying.

A small terrace has been created on one of the wings, opening onto a view of Csáford. The airplane stands on an illuminated runway, with its own garden and parking. WING is for those who are not simply looking for a place to stay, but for a story: a playful, unusual, lovable and truly memorable retreat among the trees.
